Besides the obvious service of selling equipment and other goods, what does your company offer to its customers to help with their business?
We offer equipment and layout advice for an individualized experience for laundries. Not all laundries are the same, for example some have low ceilings and some have taller ones. Some laundries have high production and some have lower production. We try and tailor equipment advice for each specific laundries to meet production needs.
Give some examples of situations where you were able to help a plant because of your staff’s expertise.
We worked with Superior in Niagara Falls as a smaller washer-extractor plant and as they grew, we tailored the correct equipment to meet their production needs. Recently, Superior moved into a brand new building, and we provided a complete PulseFlow® technology tunnel system with full automation for their new facility.
Why do you think plant owners don’t think to call your company when they are having an issue you are able to help with?
As a manufacturer, we encourage our customers to call our localized dealers first if a problem occurs with their equipment. If the dealer is unable to solve the problem, then Pellerin Milnor will step in and either send service personnel to the facility or direct them to our online Technical Knowledge Base, which provides a large volume of technical support documentation to help properly maintain Milnor equipment.
What else do you wish you could tell your customers to help them fully utilize your services?
We can help provide layout solutions so customers can see their whole plant in the macro. We can also offer layout solutions for anticipated future growth like adding an overhead rail systems for both the soil and clean side of the laundry or adding in a new soil sort deck.
