Job Description

Role

The Customer Service Manager contributes to achieving the company’s operational and strategic objectives. He/she is responsible for the after-sales support team. He/she plans and coordinates repair, installation and maintenance work to be carried out on customer sites by technical staff under his supervision. Through effective management, he/she ensures the smooth running of his/her department, the quality of services offered and the success of the company.

The incumbent will work in a context of harmonization, standardization, and integration of the global Kannegiesser group and in a context of consolidation of Kannegiesser’s activities in Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage technical department staff, setting clear, motivating objectives aligned with the KANNEGIESSER GROUP mission, vision and values.
  • Organize daily operations:
    • Contact customers to offer our services and maintain strong business relationships.
    • Plan service visits with assistants and technical staff.
    • Coordinate work to be carried out with internal staff, teams from the KANNEGIESSER GROUP and external parties.
  • Manage the department’s human, material and financial resources
    • Evaluate the performance of service department personnel
    • Monitor tool and equipment inventories
    • Ensure department profitability and control expenses
    • Develop, maintain and implement a continuous training program for technicians
    • Monitor and ensure the correct application of safety instructions.
  • Participate in various meetings to represent the department internally and with our worldwide colleagues, report results and ensure good communication with all involved departments.
  • Should be able to perform service visits and be part of installation at customers site to supervise, repair, install or do the maintenance of Kannegiesser laundry equipment.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Office suite
  • Ability to communicate in German
