Next Virtual Basic Stain Removal Course Starts February 17
Enrollment closes January 30 for DLI’s next Virtual Basic Stain Removal Course. The course gives staff hands-on experience with techniques and processes to improve cleaning results, reduce re-cleans, and build staff confidence on the spotting board. Students receive a set of sample stains and follow along live with DLI’s expert instructor.

Participants will learn how to:

  • Identify stains quickly and choose the correct removal method
  • Apply spotting chemicals safely and effectively
  • Use tools and equipment for maximum cleaning success
  • Avoid common mistakes that lead to damage or customer complaints

The Southwest Drycleaners Association (SDA) and the California Cleaners Association (CCA) are announced the return of the Drycleaning & Laundry Expo West (DL Expo West), scheduled for March 27–29, 2026, at the Irving Convention Center in Irving, Texas. 

Located just 20 minutes from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, the Irving Convention Center offers unmatched convenience for both attendees and exhibitors. “Attendees and exhibitors loved this location in 2023 so much that we knew we had to come back,” said Expo Chairman Allan Cripe. “It’s easy to reach by plane or car, and the area is full of restaurants and entertainment, all within walking distance.”

After a standout year in 2024 in Las Vegas — which saw nearly 1,000 attendees and over 50 exhibitors — SDA and CCA are pulling out all the stops to make the 2026 event unforgettable. The Textile Care Allied Trades Association (TCATA) has announced “Summit of Possibilities” as the official theme for its 2026 Management & Educational Conference, taking place August 2–5, 2026, at the historic Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville, North Carolina.

The theme reflects both the conference’s mountain setting and TCATA’s forward-looking focus on innovation, leadership, and opportunity within the textile care industry.
