2025 Tech Spotlight: JENSEN

We have asked companies in our industry to send us examples of their latest and greatest tech. Each company that responds will have a time in the spotlight. First up, industrial laundry giant Jensen.

If you’ve been to a Clean Show or followed the industry trade news, you know Jensen is investing a lot of its efforts in the future of robotics to streamline laundry efficiency. (We will have a special interview with the team working in this area in an upcoming article.)

Whether it’s robotics or other methods of making the laundry floor faster, safer and more productive, Jensen has equipment for you to consider.

Robotic Sorting Revolution from Inwatec/Jensen

Bifrost bins in the Jensen/Inwatec sorting system.

In 2024, the exciting news surrounding robotic soiled sorting was Jensen’s creation of an internal “Automation Team”. This dedicated team streamlines the consultation process for implementing this cutting-edge technology, catering to a growing market demand. Notably, interest in these new solutions has expanded beyond the traditional early adopters, signaling a shift. In a way, the “big change” into 2025 is that the solution has clearly exited the prototype phase and now solidly sits as a tried-and-true solution. The soiled sorting systems from Inwatec and Jensen now allow laundries to improve their sorting section and address growing manpower issues with confidence.

Express Pro – Feed with quality and speed

Express Pro feeder.

The Express Pro feeder is starting 2025 with a new year’s bang thanks to its matchless combination of speed and feeding quality. As a cornerless feeder, it enables operators to double their feeding capacity compared to conventional corner feeders, and its most revolutionary feature is the addition of a feeding beam which facilitates a stable and reliable transfer of the leading edge. As a result, high-end hospitality linen and table linen can be processed at high speeds, and with 5-star feeding quality.

Silverline – not all that glitters is gold

Silverline Folder.

The newest addition to Jensen’s product portfolio is the Silverline Folder, a machine that innovatively pairs space savings with excellent and consistent folding quality. It features 2 stackers placed under the crossfold section for space savings. Unlike its counterparts, this folder performs the second and third cross folds by knife and reverse conveyor. This ensures consistent support, delivering stable and high-quality folding for both heavy and light linen. If the Jensen Silverline name is familiar, that’s because the Jensen Silverline is a legacy name, reminiscent of one of Jensen’s best-selling folders. This new iteration is set to follow in its successful footsteps, promising transformative potential in linen processing.
