Begins with a cocktail reception from 8:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. Friday together with the allied trades in an area where each allied trade who has set up a tabletop will be able to meet with you and discuss any concerns or needs that you may require for your business. I (Sid Chelsky) have scheduled the reception currently to allow you to enjoy dinner on your own or together with other friends and members either in the hotel restaurants or at many nearby great restaurants on the airport strip.
The board of directors are excited to let you know that this conference will be one that you will remember for a long time and worth the investment and time to attend. Saturday morning, we will begin with a hot breakfast followed by our annual report meeting. This will be followed by an introduction to the new websites of both DLI and CFA and how to navigate through all the great and important information to increase the knowledge of your employees and your customers as well.
I promise you that when you attend this conference, you will have gained additional information that will help you grow your business and become more successful. I urge you to invest in taking the time away from your business this weekend and reap the many monetary benefits it will bring you.
There will be a few speakers who will provide you with the information to manage your POS systems and improve your marketing to new and current customers. To cap the meeting off, we will learn more about both provincial and federal government regulations that affect our industry and as a result ensure that we continue to be good environmental corporate citizens.
The day will end with a great cocktail reception followed by a Gala Dinner at which time you will have the opportunity to mingle with others in the industry and share thoughts and ideas.
For those who still want more, some of our speakers have scheduled Sunday morning workshops to delve more deeply into how to increase the profitability of your business and add other sources of income to it.
