March Focus: Mechanical Magic

The worst day ever

All this month we’ll be saluting those who know which button to press, which hose to replace, where the blockage is, how to get things back in sync.

February Focus: Dreamers & Doers

One of the special things about owning your own business is that you are free to dream — where is the company going? Where do you want it to go? What can you do to get it there?

The success stories in our industry are people who DREAM big and then DO big. All this month we’ll be showcasing Dreamers & Doers to give you new ideas to put in your own dream basket.

Check back each week for another shot of encouragement.

FIRST INSTALLMENT

Contrary to the dream-big-do-big idea, Alex is doing something small, but life-changing. We promise it will touch your heart and fire your imagination.

FINAL INSTALLMENT

Where have all the Dreamers gone?

In the month of February we featured stories of industry people who dreamed something and then made it happen. We challenged you to dream, too. An email went out to a good-sized group of cleaners asking what their dreams are for their businesses and what they’re doing to make them come true. The result? Not one response. None.

So the question is, where have the dreamers gone?

Kevin Marois

Some people dream and plan and make things happen. Others dream and whine and grumble, and then do nothing. If you want things to be different, you have to start with a dream and follow it with some elbow grease. Kevin gives you some practical steps from dreaming to doing.
